WATCH: Lepanto Institute Releases Report #5 Proving CRS Involvement in the Promotion of Contraception

This latest report focuses on Catholic Relief Services (CRS) involvement in the DREAMS project, which is an acronym for Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-Free, Mentored, and Safe women. The problem with CRS implementing the DREAMS project is that a large portion of it involves the promotion of contraception and condoms. The overall success of the program is built around knowledge and provision of contraception and condoms, which means that CRS’s involvement can only assist in facilitating that end, regardless of the degree of involvement CRS may claim to have or not have. In spite of providing irrefutable evidence demonstrating CRS’s involvement in the promotion of contraception and abortion, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USSCB) has run to the defense of CRS.  At least one bishop has publicly called for a formal investigation of CRS, but as of this date, no action has been taken.
