Allentown: Yet ANOTHER Statue of Mary Attempted to be Decapitated

A Roman Catholic church in East Allentown is asking for the public’s help to fix a statue that was vandalized.

Officials at Our Lady Help of Christians, located just off Hanover Avenue on Jasper street, say a statue of the Virgin Mary was vandalized within the last week.

They say it appears that someone tried to behead the statue, but part of her face was broken off. They’re now asking for donations to help with expensive repairs.

If you would like to donate to help with the repairs, just write “Mary” on your check and mail to Our Lady Help of Christians, 444 N. Jasper Street, Allentown, PA 18109.
