The fact that these three self-professed Catholics are able to attend Mass with no consequences from our Church leadership is a deep-rooted scandal within our own ranks. We have been abandoned by our bishops, who are supposed to be teachers of our beautiful faith and not lead their flock astray, as they have so terribly done when they’ve refused to forcefully call out these public figures and refuse to allow them reception of the sacraments. Their recent doublespeak on the moral permissibility of the COVID-19 vaccine, which, yes, was tested using aborted baby cells but that it is fine to take, is another example of their complete abandonment of faithful Catholic teaching.
