Can You Guess The Top Priority Of Catholic Inc.?

A letter, reportedly signed by 300 Catholic leaders (including 15 bishops), exposes the true priorities of Catholic Inc.

Submitted on January 30, 2026, it is one of the single largest number of Catholic leader signatories in a letter to Congress that we know of.  What, might you ask, was the subject of the letter?  Could it have been a call to defund Planned Parenthood?  A demand to protect religious liberty?  A plea to protect the definition of man/woman marriage?  Nope.  It was a letter calling for defunding of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

If  you have not gotten the message before now, mass migration has become the #1 priority of Catholic Inc.  Catholic Inc. is the network of Catholic-affiliated organizations that have become totally dependent upon government funding for their ongoing existence.  Under the Biden administration, Catholic Inc. raked in over $3 billion in taxpayer funds by trafficking illegal aliens into our nation.

Now that the Trump administration has cutoff its funding, Catholic Inc. is on the war path.  Never mind that Catholic teaching clearly states that a nation has the right to regulate immigration and enforce its immigration laws.  Never mind that Catholic teaching states the immigration is a matter of prudential judgement in which faithful Catholics can legitimately disagree on the best policy approach. Never mind that there are other non-negotiable issues, like abortion and same-sex marriage, in which Catholics are obligated to support Church teaching.  Nope.  Mass migration has become the top priority because that’s where the money is.  The Catholics who signed the letter demanding the defunding of ICE have sold their souls for thirty pieces of silver.
