Prior to his passing in 1999, the late author, exorcist, and papal advisor Fr. Malachi Martin told the late theologian Fr. Gregory Hesse that the prophecy of Our Lady at La Salette in 1846 spoke of “two worm ridden popes” to come. A worm ridden pope would suggest one that is plagued with fear and corruption, one that would misguide the Church. Until 2013, no true pope of history had sought to misguide the Church.
The La Salette prophecy coincides with the prophecy of approved Catholic mystic Marie Julie Jahenny (1850-1941) who spoke of two consecutive antipopes to come. In a recent video interview with LifeSite CEO John Henry Westen, La Salette expert Xavier Reyes-Ayral speaks of Jahenny’s prophecy.
“Marie-Julie Jahenny … stated that there would come two popes, one that would follow the other, that would lead the Church in a false direction,” the author said. “And this would only confirm what, a few decades before, the Virgin Mary revealed to Mélanie Calvat in La Salette.”
In the interview, Ayral noted that there have been numerous apparitions and mystics that have revealed this prophecy, and he too points out that the prophecy of La Sallete spoke of “two worm ridden popes.”
“The Blessed Virgin Mary, amongst so many other shocking revelations, stated that the day would come when there would be ‘deux papes vermollus’ in French, which in English … translates as ‘two worm-ridden popes’ succeeding one or the other,” he said.
The above prophecies foreshadowed everything we see happening in the Church at this time. The elevation of Robert Francis Prevost to the Chair of Peter on May 8, 2025, wielded a blow to millions of Catholics who had hoped for a pontiff that would turn the tables and restore the main altar and the rule of sacred tradition. Unfortunately, the plague of profanation and error has only increased since that time. Francis’ errant agenda has now shifted into high gear.
Leo’s whole thrust has been to abet U.N. globalists in their push for climate action, environmentalism, immigration, inclusivity, synodality, one-world unity, and other small-minded political issues that have nothing to do with religion and the salvation of souls.
Moreover, Leo has shown no willingness to expel infamous clergy like Cardinal Cupich and Fr. James Martin who push LGBTQ living, but he rather dignifies their work as did Francis.
Worse yet, Leo on the weekend of September 6-7 invited 1200 LGBTQ activists to break through the Holy Door and stampede the Vatican for the glorification of their cause. This unprecedented sacrilege sent the signal across the world that Leo XIV approves and promotes homosexuality. Who would doubt that he does?
