The USCCB continues to issue statements against Trump as they clamor for the billions back once received for illegal activity under the Biden Administration in facilitating open-borders in the United States. However, the Department for Homeland Security also takes the offensive against these grift-bishops. Homeland issued the following statement to Catholic Charities and the USCCB, among other NGOs: “The chairmen are examining whether these NGOs used taxpayer dollars to facilitate illegal activity, as the previous administration incentivized millions of inadmissible aliens to cross our borders—many of whom were subsequently aided by NGOs after being released at the border under the Biden-Harris administration’s mass catch-and-release policies.”
Over the last 14 years, leftist open-border policy has been publicly supported in the Vatican in an ostentatious manner from the last regime, but is now promoted in a more subtle way.
Similarly, the USCCB and Catholic Charities have received billions of dollars in funding illegal immigration as the Stream again reported: “According to the statement, NGOs like the USCCB and CCU used ‘U.S. taxpayer money to enable the Biden border crisis by incentivizing and facilitating illegal immigration, placing our homeland security at risk and encouraging unprecedented levels of human trafficking and smuggling.’”
In this debate, leftists usually frame their desire for open-borders by asserting that the receiving-country should be more compassionate to the poorer countries. Usually some accusation of racism is sprinkled in for anyone who would disagree with them.
Liberal “Catholics” might even describe Jesus and Mary and Joseph as “refugees,” purposely ignoring the fact the Holy Family fleeing to Egypt crossed the Roman Empire legally. They also ignore the fact St. Joseph was obedient enough to the State in registering with the census as seen in Luke ch. 2.
