Science and society, no longer Scriptura and Traditio, are the basis of the “new religion” that Bergoglio wants to impose on Catholicity.
We know the biography of the prophet Jeremiah directly because he himself presents it to us at the beginning of his prophetic text: “Words of Jeremiah son of Chelkia, one of the priests who dwelt in Anatòt, in the territory of Benjamin. The word of the Lord was addressed to him in the time of Josiah son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign, and therefore also in the time of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, until the end of the eleventh year. of Zedekiah son of Josiah, king of Judah, that is, until the deportation of Jerusalem in the fifth month ” (Jeremiah 1, 1-3) .
From this succinct but clear presentation, we learn that Jeremiah was a Levite, whose father Chelkiah was from the tribe of Benjamin, who lived and prophesied during the years of the last kings of Judah: Josiah, Jehoiakim, Zedekiah.
Jeremiah was a “prophet of misfortune”, almost reluctantly, when he was opposed by another prophet, Ananias son of Azur, who announced that the Babylonian domination of Nebuchadnezzar was numbered and soon the deportees would return home, bringing home the furnishings looted from the Temple of Jerusalem.
Iconically representing the impending disaster, Jeremiah presents himself at the Temple wearing a yoke – like a beast of burden – to indicate Babylonian hegemony over the people of Israel (Jeremiah 27, 2) , until Ananias, having reached the Temple, does not dare to break the yoke before everyone, crying: ” Says the Lord of hosts, God of Israel: I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon!” (Jeremiah 28, 2) .
A “prophet of doom”, Jeremiah, a unique case in the Old Testament, is opposed by a “prophet of good news”, Ananias who, on the contrary. announces the peace and victory of the kingdom of Judah over the Babylonians.
For the kingdom of Judah, sandwiched between mighty Egypt and even more mighty Babylon, it was nothing more than an illusion, fueled by a false prophet.
If Ananias had broken Jeremiah’s wooden yoke, the Lord will soon be speaking to him a truly prophetic word: ” You have broken a wooden yoke, but in its place I will make one of iron” (Jeremiah 28, 13 ) .
“Listen, Ananias! The Lord did not send you and you pushed this people to trust in the lie. Therefore thus says the Lord: Behold, I am casting you off the face of the earth; this you will die, because spoke of rebellion against the Lord ” (Jeremiah 28, 15-16) .
Ananias dies shortly thereafter, and within a few years Nebuchadnezzar, unnerved by Zedekiah’s affairs with the Egyptians, sends his troops back to Jerusalem, destroys the Temple and completes the deportation of the chosen people.
Jeremiah, albeit reluctantly, was never wrong!
Even more, the austere prophet of doom was not mistaken in indicating, in the infiltration of cults and idolatrous practices among the Israelites, the betrayal of the monotheistic faith and of the Mosaic tradition.
Precisely in the priests, Jeremiah on several occasions indicates the architects and promoters of the betrayal of the Sinai Covenant and attributes to them the true cause of the beginning of the consequent “Babylonian captivity” of the people of the Covenant, the end of the kingdom of Judah and the destruction of the Temple of Jerusalem (in 597 and 586 BC).
“Not even the priests asked themselves: Where is the Lord? The holders of the law did not know me, the shepherds rebelled against me, the prophets foretold in the name of Baal and continued to be useless ” (Jeremiah 2, 8) .
The events of which the prophet Jeremiah was the protagonist – despite himself – seem to adapt well to what the Catholic Church is experiencing in its hierarchy, starting with the one who sits on what was the throne of the Apostle Peter, called first to repent and then to confirm the brothers in the faith!
“Simon, Simon, behold satan has sought you to sift you like wheat; but I prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and once you have repented, confirm your brothers ” (Luke 22 31-32) .
In Jeremiah’s time, priests and prophets were completely useless in the face of the spread of Baal’s idolizing cults and his human sacrifices.
At the time of Jorge Mario Bergoglio, a large part of the entire Catholic hierarchy is not only useless against the spread of a “new religion”, called to replace the Catholic one, but the pastors themselves are – as he said in reference to the Germans of the times of Adolf Hitler the historian Daniel Jonah Goldhagen – “the willing executioners” (cf. Hitler’s Willing Executioners : Ordinary Germans and The Holocaust, New York, 1996) .
As then, still today, a large part of the German Catholic bishops and clergy “behave in this way not because they are forced or reduced to slavery or because tremendous social or psychological pressures induce them to adapt their conduct” (Ibidem, p.17 ) .
Then it was anti-Semitism as conceived and propagated by Martin Luther in his Von den Juden und ihren L ügen (Of the Jews and their lies, 1543) ; today, it is the anti-Catholicism spread and propagated in the last sixty years by the rich German Episcopal Conference for which the only Scriptura and the only Traditio that really matter are the Kirchensteuer .
From Berlin to Munich, passing through Frankfurt to Cologne and Hamburg, only the Kirchensteuer decide who is Catholic and who is not; and if you don’t pay – the refractory orthodoxy doesn’t matter – “anathema sit!”.
In recent days, then, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, with marked observance of the myths of pastoralism, collegiality and synodality, has set the premises – with two Motu Proprio on the same 11 February – for the conclusions of the der Synodale Weg to become the premises for the conclusions of the Synod on Synodality of 2023.
As in the two Synods on the Family (2014-2015), the Bergoglian technique is once again the same: ” If we speak explicitly of communion for the divorced and remarried – reported Mgr. Forte, referring to a joke from Pope Francis – these do not know what a mess that they combine us. So let’s not talk about it directly, make sure that the premises are there, then I’ll draw the conclusions. ” After reporting this joke, Forte himself joked: ” Typical of a Jesuit” (La Stampa, 9 May 2016) .
If I speak of female priests, of a change in sexual morality, of same-sex marriages and the end of ecclesiastical celibacy, “you know what a mess they make us”: let’s leave it to the Germans – they have the historical habit of being the “willing executioners” of the despot on duty – and we leave it to the president of the Commission of European Episcopal Conferences. To them the premises, to me the conclusions. “Typical of a Jesuit”!
Given the premises built on the Rhine, two major obstacles remained on the Tiber to implement this same strategy: the unexpected survival of Benedict XVI and the competences of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
It is no coincidence that the choice of 11 February 2022 – the ninth anniversary of the famous Declaratio of Benedict XVI – for the Motu Proprio Fidem Servare e some competences , the latter so urgent that not even the Latin translation is expected, which should also be the original source and, therefore, canonically binding for the faithful interpretation.
The first obstacle for “the pastors who rebelled, […] and continued to be useless” (Jeremiah 2: 8), is represented by Benedict XVI, not only by his person but above all by his clear and indefectible magisterium.
Here then is the president of the German Bishops’ Conference invoking, like a new Maximilien Robespierre, his head on the Ecclesial Place de la Concorde. It does not matter if the accusations have proved – as amply confirmed by the rigorous analysis conducted by many (see inter alia, the analysis conducted on the site: Silere Non Possum) – unfounded, false and specious.
That was enough for the new members of the Public Health Committee of the former German Catholic Church to incite the mainstream press against the Pontiff Emeritus and to try to overturn the rot of their rotten church on him.
The fat German boyars-ecclesiastics have perhaps asked their faithful ally to account for his much more recent past, when as President of the Bishops’ Conference of Argentina he commissioned a pamphlet of over 4,000 pages for a fee in favor of Father Julio César Grassi, not so much for defend him but rather to intimidate the judges of the Supreme Court who, in 2017, confirmed the sentence to 15 years in prison “for sexual abuse aggravated by being a priest, in charge of the education and care of the minor v ítima, repeated, two facts, in real competition between s, which in turn concur formally with aggravated corruption of minors.”
Or could the then primate of Argentina not know what was happening in the Provolo Institute of Lujà n de Cuyo , in Argentina, facts for which the Italian priest Nicola Corradi and the Argentine Argentine Horaci or Corbacho were condemned for heinous crimes of pedophile crime at 42 and 45 years in prison respectively?
They are not facts that date back to the forties or seventies, they are much more recent episodes that have all seen Bergoglio at the forefront as Archbishop of Buenos Aires and President of the Argentine Bishops’ Conference for the Grassi case, and as Primate of Argentina for that of the Provolo Institute.
Or, perhaps, should we wait for the outcome of the trial of Bishop Gustavo Zanchetta – one of Bergoglio’s very first episcopal appointments – to begin asking the ruler some compelling questions about cases that certainly do not go back to the mists of time?
It was also necessary to undermine the even more timid Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith!
To this the reform wanted by Pope John Paul II had entrusted the task of promoting “studies aimed at increasing the understanding of the faith and so arising from the progress of science or civilization can be answered in the light of faith ” (Pastor Bonus can. 49) and” to protect the truth of the faith and the integrity of morals “committing himself” actively so that faith and customs are not damaged due to errors however disclosed ” (Ibidem can. 51 ) .
In Bergoglio’s vision and plans, on the other hand, “The Doctrinal Section, through the Doctrinal Office, deals with matters that have a bearing on the promotion and protection of the doctrine of faith and morals. Furthermore, it favors studies aimed at increasing the transmission of faith in the service of evangelization , existence so that its light is a criterion for understanding the meaning of , especially in the face of the questions posed by the progress of the sciences. and from the development of society ” (Fidem Servare can. 2) .
Therefore, from now on “the questions posed by the progress of the sciences of the development of society” will be the guiding criterion of the decisions of the Congregation and not “the promotion and protection of faith and morals”.
As for those who deny this faith and morality with their writings – according to Bergoglio – “dialogue must be encouraged” (Ibidem can. 3) .
Science and society, no longer Scriptura and Traditio , are the basis of the “new religion” that Bergoglio wants to impose on Catholicity.
A project, moreover, already old and whose consequences are already all too evident in the cadaveric traditional Reformed Churches and in the Church of England.
As, already bravely denounced by the former authoritative Anglican bishop, now a Catholic priest, Michael Nazir-Ali, tired of seeing the church embrace more and more causes considered too progressive and contrary to the Gospel: “first the priesthood to women, then the opening to same-sex marriages and trans marriages, then again the criticism of the colonial past of the United Kingdom, all imposed by political correctness and in contrast with the principles enshrined in the Bible (see The BNP’s values aren’t Christian , in: The Guardian, 27 October 2009) .
What “the new Bergoglian religion would like to replace”, in reality, is the very essence of Revelation and of the Gospel, as the Protestant theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer .
“When Sacred Scripture invites us to follow Christ, it announces man’s liberation from every precept made by men, from all that weighs, that oppresses, that worries, from all that torments the conscience. By following Christ, men free themselves from the heavy yoke of their own laws and place themselves under the gentle yoke of Jesus Christ. Could it be that in this way the seriousness of the commandments of Jesus is diminished? Far from it! Precisely where the whole commandment of Jesus is kept, the invitation to follow him unconditionally, the total liberation of man and his full communion with Jesus is made possible. Whoever obeys Jesus’ commandment without reserve, who accepts his yoke without reserve. any opposition, he will feel how sweet the weight he has to carry, he will receive in the light pressure of this yoke, the strength to walk the straight path without getting tired ”
“The commandment of Jesus is harsh, inhuman for those who resist it. The commandment of Jesus is light and sweet for him who accepts it promptly. ” ( Nachfolge , Munich, 2002, p. 4) .
The heroic Lutheran pastor, martyr in the Nazi extermination camp of Flossenb ürg, had clearly understood that “cheap grace” – that of the Lutheran Church of his time and of the “new Bergoglian religion today -” is the mortal enemy of our Church”
“Cheap grace is justification, not of the sinner, but of sin. Cheap grace is that grace that we bestow upon ourselves. […] Cheap grace is the proclamation of forgiveness without repentance, it is baptism without community discipline, it is the Holy Supper without confession of sins, it is absolution without personal confession. […] Cheap grace is grace without following Christ, grace without a cross, grace without the living, incarnate Christ. […] Grace at a great price is the Gospel that one must always seek anew, the gift that must always be asked anew, the door at which one must always strike again ”.
“It is at a high price because it calls us to follow, it is grace, because it calls us to follow Jesus Christ; it is at a high price, because man buys it at the price of his own life, it is grace, because precisely in this way he gives him life; it is dear, because it condemns sin, it is grace, because it justifies the sinner. Grace comes at a high price, above all because it has cost God a lot; it cost God the life of his Son ” (Ibid. 12-15) .
Faced with the open apostasy of the Catholic Faith of the German bishops, with the complicity of Jorge Mario Bergoglio, and perhaps their overt heresy, one could ask them to account for what they sacramentally promised at the time of their ordination: “The ancient tradition of fathers requires that the ordained bishops be questioned in the presence of the people on the purpose of safeguarding the faith and exercising their ministry: Do you want to keep the deposit of faith pure and intact, according to the tradition always and everywhere preserved in the Church since the time of the Apostles? ” (Rite of ordination of Bishops) .
Or, as Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Muller did, they could be invited to demonstrate their “holy evangelical courage” by renouncing privileges, privileges, seats and, wearing a simple habit, going barefoot to preach their new church, all peace, love and fantasy.
Neither will happen. We have been accustomed, for nine years now, to hearing the Catholic hierarchy braying according to the moods of the time and the clerical and careerist conveniences of the incumbent papacy.
Such shepherds who rebelled against God and his Revelation – Jeremiah would sadly say – “have continued to be useless” (Jeremiah 2: 8) .
They like Ananias, a false prophet, push the people “to trust in the lie.”
The French historian Boris Souvarine , author of a monumental biography of Joseph Stalin, gave a concise, contemptuous but realistic definition of Stalin and the main protagonists of the revolution and the establishment of the Bolshevik regime in Russia: “A whore who changes sidewalk, for this she is no longer a whore! ” ( see Staline, aper ç u historique du bolchévisme, Paris , 1992 ).
Nowadays, a non-irreverent but very realistic description of a large part – at least the one most exposed by the mainstream – of the current Catholic hierarchy appears, which nonchalantly after stepping on a very noble sidewalk – that of the Holy Church of God – have now changed sidewalk .
On both, they remain what they are!
