Cardinal Timothy Dolan and Bishop Edward Scharfenburger have produced a litany of excuses for not disciplining New York Governor Andrew Cuomo after he approved a pro-abortion bill facilitating the killing of unborn children up to the moment of birth. In the following video, LifeSite correspondent Matthew Cullinan Hoffman shows that Catholic bishops have a variety of legal means for punishing legislators who attack human life and other values protected by the Church – means that have already been confirmed by the highest authorities in the Holy See – but lack the will to use them.
